Banquet
Unwind after your first day of operating with a drinks and fine dining at the historic Freight House Restaurant in downtown La Crosse. Originally built in 1880 by the Milwaukee Road to handle incoming freight, the railroad halted services in 1955. Since then several businesses have occupied the building until October 1978 when the restaurant opened.
The original feel of the building can be seen throughout and the walls are adorned with photos featuring local railroading. The salad bar was built on top of a vintage baggage cart. There is no better way to start a weekend of railroading action then to enjoy a fine meal in a historic railroad building.
Cocktail “hour” at 6:00 PM with dining beginning at 7.
